Zombies!

The sheer word conjures images from George Romero's arsenal of B rated movies that turned into overnight sensations. A horde of undead moving slowly, arms raised, jaws opened at an angle as bits of bone and sinews stick out from their teeth. No need to feed, no need to do anything, yet they hunger still. They crave flesh, brains, and the gore of any who still have control over their mind.

Can you tell why I LOVE this genre!?

It was only a few years ago when I first picked up "The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks and learned of the real yet unspoken danger of the upcoming zombie doomsday (which as we all know is more of a threat than this 2012 crap).

So you think, "Is this chick for reals? I mean, come one- no such thing could happen like that."
So I think, "Wow, what a numb-skull."

Here is how I think the zombie apocalypse will occur. Medicine. Yeah, Some medical lab whether that be government funded (illegally more likely knowing the integrity of modern day government officials) or terrorist/under the table organizational types. The motive will either be some sort of bio-chemical weapon to "help ensure the safety of our country/people/religion" or to help little Timmy's sickness to go away forever.

There are chemicals out there (found naturally) that can cause a zombie like effect on a human being. Voodoo men in the islands have used a certain fish toxin in an extremely small amount mixed with other indgredients. This made the person they wish to curse momentarily lose control of the higher functioning part of the brain and would wander slack jawed and occasssionally violent. Cases of these violent attacks would have these cursed men biting others as if to devour them.

All in all it is up to yourself whether or not you believe in a possibility that a virus of some kind that has the ability to create hordes of walking dead may in fact exist.

I don't trust our government all that much. I mean, look at the health care system they are attempting to make into a socialistic model. Would you trust a government who has kept and are still keeping secrets from us?
